The names of the North American wolves are Kodiak, Kenai, Dakota and Duma.
The European wolves are Alba, Latea, and Lunca.
As soon as the wolves got near the water they were in. The handlers were trying hard not to get pulled in too. Then one of them threw a pebble into the water and the wolves wanted to go after it. Someone did say "fetch" but it didn't work.
They take some hanging on to.
Do you wish you could stroke this wolf too?
What has this wolf spotted?
Being photographed by the press. This photographer is from the Sunday People newspaper. He and a reporter were on the walk too.
"It's my puddle and I'll lay in it if I want to!"
"That smells interesting. I'll dig it up."
After the walk. If that's how they felt imagine how I felt!
This is Kodiak. He is the dominant male. He decided he didn't want to meet people anymore so he is retired. Kenai is the alpha female. Dakota and Duma are sisters.
Kodiak. He just never keeps still long enough for a good picture.
I definitely want to go again and I really would recommend it. Everyone on the walk really enjoyed it. I know for sure I did.
